Holwell Sports F.C. are a football club based in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire & were established in 1902. In 1988, Holwell Works F.C. changed their name to their present name. Holwell Sports have reached the 2nd round of the FA Vase three times in their history, the last time was thanks to goals from Gary Drake and Leigh Fox and a man of the match performance from fans favourite Andy Teare. They currently play in the East Midlands Counties Football League, having joined from the Leicestershire Senior League at the end of the 2007-08 season.
